David is currently the Managing Partner for EdgeWorth Consulting. Prior to his appointment, David was the Audit Manager for MGK Consulting.

He has a wealth of experience in audit and assurance, tax, accountancy, payroll and overall business advisory. He is in charge of developing and improving client service delivery, leading the entire team in the provision of high quality services and provides overall team mentorship.

Key Experiences:

Simon is the Audit and Outsourced Services Partner at Edge Worth Consulting. He leads the audit team and oversees the execution of audit and other assignments. Simon has strong technical skills in audit, assurance, compliance matters.

His areas of experts cover statutory/external audits, inventory audits, special audits and overall business advisory. His duties include planning and supervising audits, guiding individuals in the formation of their companies, ensuring legal requirements for clients are met and attending statutory audits planning meetings.

Cyrus has over 15 years of experience in providing tax advisory services. Prior to joining Edgeworth Consulting, he served in various capacities in audit firms including MGK Associates LLP, MGI Alekim LLP and John Cumming and Company.

• PGD in Tax Administration from the Kenya School of Revenue Administration

Key Experiences:

Cyrus handles a variety of tax issues including tax compliance assignments, conducting transfer pricing reviews, VAT refund audits, carrying out tax reviews for quality control on client’s audit files, VAT and PAYE reviews, health checks reviews, resolving KRA disputes and conducting tax planning assignments for a wide range of clients from varied sectors. He lead and trains the tax and audit seniors through updating and analyzing impact of new tax regulations and laws.

Cephas has over 4 years of experience in preparing revenue projections and forecasting expenditures, assisting with annual audit preparations, investigating and resolving audit findings, account discrepancies and issues of non-compliance, contributing to the development of new and or amending accounting systems and supporting his junior staff assigned to him.

He has hands on experience in accounts reconciliations, streamlining accounts, delivering accurate reports, preparing and filing VAT returns, handling KRA Audits and tax health checks, filing and preparing PAYE, MRI, NHIF and NSSF returns and processing monthly payroll data and reports. He leads and trains his juniors in effectively executing client assignments.

He leads his juniors in performing audit procedures to verify the implementation and effectiveness of internal controls, discussing audit findings and recommendations with General Manager and departmental heads and in preparing and submitting timely, quality audit reports, engage with meetings with management.

Esther has over 5 years of experience in payroll administration, compliance and set up. She has managed payroll financial and accounting processes for various clients so that their payroll activities are accurate, timely, cost-effective and business and employee sensitive and maintained accounting entries between the subsidiary companies and the payroll accounting system.
